The Clarity Cleanse – Mind & Body

Mental Clarity in a Turbulent Age

We live in troubled times. News headlines and story leads are a combination of fear, doom and gloom. We have been conditioned to believe that the external stressors of our world will inevitably envelop us all. The anxiety and fear this creates begets internal turmoil, clutter and unhappiness. These emotions and feelings, if not properly purged, manifest as the roots of many mental and physical diseases. For these reasons, mental clarity is more important than ever.

The good news is that there is a way to combat the anxiety and fear that is creeping into our collective consciousness. Through a series of physical and mental exercises found in my new book, The Clarity Cleanse, anyone is capable of working toward clearer, more stable mental and emotional states.

In order to first achieve clarity and balance, we must first understand that mental clarity is a context and a mindset. If you look at the cover of The Clarity Cleanse, the image is very telling. The empty cup on the cover represents the container you must build in which to hold your clarity. Without a clean, empty vessel to hold a liquid, even the purest, most cleansing tea is useless. Similarly, without a clean, spacious mental and emotional state, there can be no clarity. Once understood, the exercises found in The Clarity Cleanse serve to help purge built up emotional and mental clutter to achieve this clarity. At a time when fear and anxiety have permeated the international psyche, this clarity is more important than ever.

In a fast-paced world, it is sometimes impossible to step away from the television, from our computers and from our smartphones. The headlines may continue to bring negative news into our lives. Just know that with context and practice, clarity and health are still attainable.
