Daniel Fabricant, PhD and Mark discuss dietary supplements and a trip to the ER. Dr Fabricant discusses the New England Journal of Medicine’s findings in a study that claimed dietary supplements are responsible for approximately 23,000 ER visits from 2004 to 2013. Today challenged the methodology and findings of a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine that claimed dietary supplements are responsible for approximately 23,000 hospital visits each year.
